We frequently find ourselves in places which don't fit into a nice neat category.  Sometimes, we find out about them and go there, like the Field of Dreams. Others, like the Lewis and Clark Caverns, we stumble upon along the way. We've encountered dozens on our travels but have picked out the ones that are truly exceptional.  They may not exactly be Off The Beaten Path, but they have beauty, history, charm, excitement or some other unique characteristic that makes them worth seeking out.  And they all have geocaches, either right there or nearby.
